The Bagad Glazik KEMPER group represents one of the 4 musical groups associated with Bagad KEMPER.

It was in 1998 that Bagadig KEMPER accelerated into the Third category becoming Bagad Glazik. Its principal focus is to integrate and create players coming from Bagadig and to prepare these musicians to become members of Bagad KEMPER, it offers the possibility to practice and develop Breton music through the different concerts, fest-noz, competitions BAS and tours mainly in Brittany (Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Festival de Cornouaille...).

The musical group formation is actually composed of 25 to 30 players with an average age of about 20 and within the last few years a majority of females.

The bagad is placed under the musical direction of Tangi Josset, also a musician with Bagad KEMPER (ensemble in the first category, part of the Bagad Kemper association).

At the last competition in Lorient 2009 for the head of the Festival Interceltique, Bagad Glazik KEMPER obtained an amazing 3^rd place overall out of 15 musical ensembles in the 3^rd category.

The rehearsals take place every Friday night during the school year from 20h00 to 21h30 at the espace Hervé Le Meur.

Le Glazik se mobilise pour l’association "Loig, enfant autiste" !

NO TRANSLATION AVAILABLE Pour la deuxième année, le Bagad Glazik Kemper avec ses 30 musiciens a participé le samedi 2 février dernier à Quimper au fest-noz de soutien à l’association " Loïg, enfant autiste". Faire progresser Loig par la méthode des 3i, tel est le 1er objectif de l'association des 40 personnes rassemblées autour de lui depuis bientôt 3 ans. Permettre à d'autres enfants de suivre cette méthode dans les meilleurs conditions sera son 2ème objectif.  Près de 200 sonneurs étaient réunis pour l'évènement.

2ème place pour le Glazik !

NO TRANSLATION AVAILABLE Après sa seconde place lors de la première manche du concours national des Bagadoù de 3ème catégorie à Saint Brieuc en mars dernier, le Bagad Glazik Kemper s'est de nouveau classé second lors de la seconde manche, samedi 28 juillet dernier à Quimper. Au classement général, il termine à la seconde place derrière le Bagadig Caval et devant le Bagad de Ploërmel. Félicitation à eux ! Competition 3rd category

July 23rd marked the beginning of a long weekend for the quimpérois, but it was also the finals day for the 3rd category groups in which the Bagad Glazik KEMPER participates. Ranked 3rd at the competition in Saint-Brieuc, the Glazik players played a march, a melody, followed by a suite Plinn, all written and conducted by Jean-Louis Hénaff. This played to their advantage, as the Bagad Glazik KEMPER placed 3rd behind Bagad Carhaix and Bagadig Cap Caval. Congratulations to them! Photo credit : An Tour Tan
